What do you expect as a safe distance between the exhaust manifold out pipes and fibreglass cut?

Have you used any insulation in or out of the fibreglass hole?
And how about exhaust wrap?

We have cut GRP approximately 10mm larger than header pipes. Then put an aluminium surround to dissipate the heat quicker... yellow turns orange when hot!
