Just to add extra probs for me(to go with the HISS problems) I need to know the year of make for my honda x11(Backbird) engine so i can get correct parts etc -everywhere i go they say the vin no is needed,surley i can get the year from the engine serial no but where can i get the info!!!!!! HELP PLEASE .?.

You can write to Honda and ask the info. They will supply a written reply stating its age but it costs £30-40 and I dont know exactly which department you need to write to, as Ive not had to do it myself

You would require a Dating Certificate which can be obtained by writing to
the address below, which full detail of the bike/engine numbers and a cheque
for £25 + vat (£29.38) payable to Honda UK.

Many thanks ,I knew one of you top people would know the answer to stop me pulling all the rest of my hair out!!! Just that poxy nightmere of the hiss thing to sort now(I really should have done my homework!!!!) UNLESS some body knows the answers to that for me???????????
