Hi everyone
I was wondering if we have any airbox experts on hear
I feel the airbox on my triple is a little restrictive I have changed to a KN filter and now working how to get cold air to the inlets.
but at the end of the day would a larger fabricated airbox make any difference
I know manifacturers spend alot of money developing airboxes but have size restriction I don't so would I be better to fit a big square airbox
fed by cold air or faff around with current airbox and get a good cold air feed?
also are sock filters less restrictive than a KN filter
wow thats loads of questions sorry

The only reason car manufacturers use air boxes is to reduce noise levels, replacing the air box with a K&N is the best way to de-restrict your
air flow.
What you should also do feed cold air to the new air filter as cooler air is more dense and allows for better combustion.
Hope this helps
