Sorry but it might be a silly question but what is a power commander?
What age engines need one?
which engines need one?
Cant you use the stock bike stuff?
How much is one?
how is it used and how to set it up?
Is there a website to show me what they look like?

It is like a piggy back ecu which is used to change the air fuel ratio after changing say an exhaust or air filter on your bike. So it is useful when fitting a exhaust to suit your kit and with out i think it probably wouldnt run right at all.

If you type in power commander on ebay you will get a load come up and you should also on google.

Power Commanders are used only on fuel injected engines for fuel optimisation throughout the rev range. No good for carb bike engines which would need rejetted.

As above, the later type power commanders can also change ignition timing.
They are a PITA to use unless you have the software loaded onto a laptop. Then you can tweak dynamically, using the buttons on the unit is very coarse adjustment.

Had one fitted to my car, but byassed it to pass SVA emmissions test.
