Evening all,
Looking at getting hold of vernier pulleys for the bike engine.
Been searching on the web to no avail...
Any ideas on where to get them anyone?
Cheers

cam sprocket kits

Cheers for that, but just had a quick look and no parts listed for CBR 1000s
Im guessing that an early fireblade pulley may be ok but they dont seem to list for those either!
Well in that case I'll just have to melt my piston crowns - shame really!

I don't know if they do Honda though.
Hi, bought a fast road cam for my V6, only to find that Kents don't make an adjustable chainwheel, (or anybody else for that matter), When I
timed it up with the OE chainwheel, timing was miles out, 122degs instead of 114. Kent technical said "Oh! it will run with that setting".
Anyway being a locost builder got it right myself, smack on 114degs by adjusting the keyway with a Dremel. Thing is it's a bloody cheek to make
things that should be smack on, without making the bits to make it possable.

You can either by hand or by machine, elongate the bolt hole 1/2 chain pitch either side from centre at the required radius.
Then just clamp it up with the bolts and nutlock
Had an FZR like that ran it no probs.
Back in the olden days when the world was in black and white you used to be able to buy woodruff keys with a built in offset to allow a few degrees
adjustment.
Talk to these guys JHS Racing who are independant tuners in Bristol and have an excellent reputation. If
verniers exist they will know. They have supplied offset woodruff keys in the past!
