Anyoe know where I might find a suitable bell crank mechanism to use for my paddle shift to link the rod from the paddles 90deg to the rod to the gearshift lever on the engine.

Try pathfinder on here, he does some very nice things. Got a 90 Degree gear changer thingy from him, its lovely!

Yeah, i got mine from Pathfinder too. It was very inexpensive and very well made.
