adriane - 23/1/07 at 01:55 PM

Hi there
I have an MK Indy with a Hayabusa engine and am completing the build. I will need to go for SVA so can any one tell me the settings for the camber, toe, dampers, tyre pressure and any other setting I will need.
Thanks
Adrian

front tyres pumped up 30psi

after 18psi

you need to drive your car and see if it self centres first

SVA settings are basically to encourage self-centering. Toe-out and over-inflated tyres help....
Not a good idea if you're driving to the test though..... Best to have a little toe-in and 20Psi for driving to the station then adjust when you get there.....
Dampers less critical- I'd start on the softest settings then firm it up with time.

The SVA examiners are well aware of the self centring problems, and if they suspect a bodge, you will fail.
