what else do i need ?

if i were to fit a bike engine in kit what else do i need apart from engine /box ie
loom/ecu etc?

Fuel pump....
Sensors (water temp etc) if EFi....

exhaust, possibly dry sump depending on what you wanna do with finished car and engine fitted, oil cooler, rad, fuel pressure regulater if FI.

a few spare clutches, oh some more money for an engine rebuild after a couple of years !

That really depends on which bike engine you decide to buy and how easy you want the install to be. For instance, if you want to use the original bike clocks instead of after-market stuff, it's easier to source an engine which includes the clocks. Also as has been mentioned, you might want the fuel pump (which are sometimes mounted in the fuel tank, depending on type of engine) and the fuel sender.

Best bet would be to decide which engine you want to use and then ask what specific parts you'll need.
