not as nice as the sprint
I also don't like how your head sticks out over the roll bar...
erm saw
£40 odd k
dont like it.
I think it looks great. The bepoke nature means it colsts too much. A lightweight R1 engined seven will be just as fast, albeit without the high
range for the diff, which would make cruising a little quieter.
I'd like to see one at a show, but I wouldn't entertain buying one.
I liked the original and I like this... just waaaay too pricey for me
When you see prices like nearly £54000 for the tuned version of this Rocket,Mr MK is going to be a very busy man building his sprint-r's,which can be built for around £6000,and if fitted withe the latest R1 engine, better performance than the Rocket. Also if I was spending £54000 on a car I would not expect "at higher speed the Rocket is unnerving" and "kick back over mid bend bumps" and "the steering is not as direct as it could or should",having driven the prototype Sprint-R around cadwell, which has since been further developed, and was straight out of the box as it were, was completely stable at higher speed, and the steering was direct and positive, and gave you great confidence in the cars ability. There's even a two seater version in the pipeline for later this year.
Nice from certain angles, but not all angles... a little too quirky for me and certainly not at that price!
EDIT - Glad to hear Mr MK Engineering is developing a 2 seater Sprint no matter how big, as long as it holds 2 it's a must!

Hardly imaginative! Looks just like the Brooke (which is 2/3rds the price) silly money - Buy a Furore!!
Wayyyy to much money for what it is. And why do they have to stick with the R1 engine? Surley a bigeger (ZX12R etc) would be better? Also I don't really get the point of the high/low bo thing. Since when do you need that in such a light weight car? Surely a more suitable 6th for cruising would be a much more sensible and cheaper option?
It's not even the R1 engine it's the one before, the Thunderace or maybe FZR1000 motor
Cheers
