ZX9 Clutch Arm Position

Does anyone know what position the clutch arm should be in when at rest. Mines got no cable on so there's no resistance on it at all but how much do I have to take up when measuring up for a cable. If all that makes sense?

a zx12 should be at 60 degrees to the cable

from slack, rest position should be as far as you can push it 'easily' by hand. Seperating plates is incredibly difficult and will bend your thumb. There is a clear difference in feel between the two sprung stages, its easy to think that the first bit of spring is the actual operation but without leverage it would never be that easy.

I mean with you pushing the actual lever, not the pedal.

I'll go have another look. I thought there was just the very loose part where the arm moves freely then about 45 degrees to the cable the slightly tensioned part where the plates are being moved but I'm obviously missing the main part. Cheers lads.
