ZCars BEC (mini/mini montecarlo kit) alternatives?
madmandegge - 4/5/07 at 06:13 PM

Hi,
thought I saw a thread on this a few months back, but I'm blind so I can't find it, apologies if it's elsewhere, will delete this thread!

Are there any companies offering other kits, I know the ZCars kit is quite pricey #

cheers!

mk engineering made one or two spaceframe kits, but when i emailed them about buying one, had no reply.

geronimocages do a similar kit, quite a bit cheaper too.

I also read in a kit mag the other day that Sylva have done a couple of modifications to the riot chassis to fit into a mini - a couple of one offs, but apparently will offer the service to anyone.

They might seem pricey but when you add up everything you get then it's not that bad. Currently building my 3rd one and can't fault the quality or customer service in any way.
I built the green minus that appears in the BEC website advert for a friend and it's an awesome bit of kit.

the Zcars kit does seem the most complete (good for someone such as myself )

their customer service did also seem good when dealing with them previously.

may just have to save up more pennies! cheers guys.
