Hi there
Well, after my first attempt to start the engine a few days ago see ( http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=69036 )
I stripped the carbs and rebuilt them, took the advice of a full choke and primed each cylider with a little petrol.
I then cranked it over, and a fter a few coughs it burst into life. All gauges working as they should and ran it up to temperature.
Nice to know it goes!
I'll do the honours and post a clip on U tube at one point
Cheers
Ian
Sweet, nice feeling that is

How far down did you strip the carbs Ian?
And how long had it been stood? It's good to see something happen after a long time waiting.
Welcome to the club
