Just wondered whereabouts people have plumbed their header tank feed in? I've done it on the pipe that goes up between the water pump and into the engine block, just placed a tee in but I'm feeling a bit suspicious about it, dunno why but better to check I've found than have to rework and re buy stuff (and I'm very good at that!) Thanks

My header tank tees into the bottom hose , from rad to engine, it seems to run fine like that.

Yeah I would like that better. Its a bit busy where I have it and is fouling things a bit. Cheers, I'll give it a whirl.

i did mine with a tee in the bottom hose (about 15mm) and a small tee in a top hose (maybe 8mm) to help get the air out. I did it all in copper, with olives to stop pipes popping off.

Yep using copper pipe too, yorkshire though so they have the rim around them. Too poor for ally connections

Yip, I had had a t-piece on the lower pipe to the header (Approx. 15mm diameter) and took the small vent from the thermostat housing to the header tank.

All seams to work. In addition I also had a T in the top hose for the oil cooler outlet.

Cheers
