wow its mad! NO exhaust tho! my work friend has just told me he could hear it from his house with the windows shut! popping and banging on the over run! and id only taken it up to 9k then!lol!

Getting exhaust system made up this week, then should be on the road properly! feels weird to be back in the thing on the road! gonna need to learn how to drive it all over again!

Oh and i think i need a different diff ratio, currently running a 3.64:1, and it just span the wheels up crazy style when it hit about 7k revs! also was doing about 7k at around 50-60mph?

Congratulations!

So yours is in exactly the same state as mine now. My MK exhaust can decided to part company with the car at 80+mph on turn 2 at Bruntingthorpe. The weld failed!

Bl00dy loud with no silencer isn't it!

Cheers

Martin

Wouldn't do too much driving around with no exhaust, if you have no manifold, theres a chance you could burn a valve out, and that would just spoil all the fun, that said, its a great feeling aint it!

RPM at 70 sounds about right similar to mine, although a lower ratio would be better.

loud isnt the word! lol! got 3" stubs out of the ports only!

How can that burn a valve out?

it's all to do with back pressure and the frequency of the exhaust gas pulses
