The prop I have to fit in my BEC is about three inches too short. I cannot move the engine any closer.
Is it worth having the prop lengthend or should I just sell it as it is and have a new one made up to the correct size?

Look at how much it will cost you and go with the cheapest so long as it is done properly.

Pay the extra and go for new. It is one of those parts which if it fails can be dangerous....just my opinion of course.

Buy new.

You don't want one of those flailing around!
