Is anybody any good at doing Rubick cubes? If so could you come and help with my car! Seems the more I do then the further back I have to go with modifications and its doing my head in.

a computer worked out recently that ANY scrambled cube can be sorted in 26 moves, which doesnt help you at all, but is still remotely interesting.

Getting all the parts to fit is whats winding me up!

Is peeling a sticker off and putting it back somewhere else one move or two?

I once did it in under a minute, but it's taken near a year just to chuck a couple of turbos on, so I probably wouldn't be first choice for help either

Just go and buy a bigger hammer, a 3 or 4 pound ball pein is good! If it doesn't
a) help the part fit
b) smash it so there is no point in fitting it anyway
c) smack yourself over the head with it when you realise there is something very obvious you ave missed

then get a largeish piece of 4mm steel plate and hit that in frustration, at the end of the project you will have a very nice modernist fruit bowl to give to SWMBO!

Thanks guys. Was just feeling a bit pissed off last night as it was one step forward and three back. This morning I lifted the bonnet on with the trottle bodies and new air box in place and it fits with 1/2" to spare. Feeling happier now!

Just got to reshape cooling pipes, modify expantion bottle mount, remake gear linkage, remake engine mounting spacers and reweld engine rear mount...and not drive over any speed bumps!
