Well it defininitely pays to ring around on insurance!!!

Flux quoted me £274 to renew my insurance. I rang around and got:

Footman James- 679.35(!)
Sureterm- £247
Graham Sykes- £192.90
Roadsure- £500+(!)
Portwood's- refused to give a quote (no way they could beat the quotes I'd got that far)

I just rang up Flux again and after quoting the G.Sykes quote they cut it down to £185!!! Which is still more than I'd like but hey....

I'll remember that in December.

Good result Ben. You have to play the insurance companies at their own game. Shouldn't have to but I guess it's just a sign of the times.

And what's more Backford Bloor just sent me a written quote of £128!!!
Doh- paid Flux yesterday. Knickers....

Pity about the Backford Bloor quote but I doubt you'd have got the BEC Owners club discount on the premium you negotiated with Flux.
