selling the zetec package that came in the part built I bought.

Going the BEC route. Really looking forward to getting back to something more familier!

So - that means I have some cash available for an engine package!

I'm not in a particular hurry for the engine, because I've got no hurry to finish it (not got experience in a RWD so dont fancy my first drive in winter!)

my question is - do bike engine prices go down in winter? I know bikes do, but is it also true with just the engines?

No idea to be honest - but would have thought there would be less getting ridden and hence crashed over the winter so supply might drop??

Just speculating anyway - until Malc comes along anyway. Would have thought the price difference would be quite small though so maybe it should be more a case of waiting until the perfect engine comes along??

But then more crashed in winter due to wetter roads/worse conditions.......
