Need a cat
Pezza - 11/12/07 at 11:27 AM

I need a cat for the exhaust system on my r1 Indy.
I seem to remember these nice compact jobbies people on here had used, but i can't find any details through a search.
What have people used?
Any recommended suppliers?

Cheers

Ben

Go to a scrap yard and find one in a small engined car (less than say 1.2l). Cut it out and weld into your existing back box or as a seperate removable section in the system.

I picked up an SVA comliant backbox (rolled end) with a cat welded inside for the grand total of £15 delivered! Otherwise, there are a couple of cheap suppliers on ebay.
