hi there
im building an mk indy with an firblade engine and an sierra diff,
what propshaft do i need ?
and where can i get it from any recommendations?
ive got one modified for an car engine but that wont be anyuse now will it ?cheers stu
Your modified car engine one will be (almost definitely) useless now, yes.
You can modify a normal Sierra one by cutting the end front UJ end off and then welding on a sliding UJ to mate up to a prop adapter that will bolt to
your sprocket spigot.
Or you can get a TRT prop made for you. This is better as it "replaces" the cush drive offered by the rubber blocks in the Blade's rear
wheel. The only small problem there (apart from the cost
) is the need to measure accurately. But this is very simply done to be honest!!!

Give MK's a call, they can supply an exchange Fireblade/Sierra prop for £73.50 or an extra £36.50 surcharge if you have'nt a doner one.
Barry
ok that sounds reasonable
