need to replace a wheel bearing due to it leaking diff oil through the bearing again.
i've had issues with 2 out of 3 Oring style bearings.
has anyone tried these non Oring ones?

are you sure it feet your axle ?
Worth sending a PM to 'the king of bling' on here as he has dealt with this issue on his narrow bodied Westfield
Getting the correct bearings was an issue iirc as there are plenty about that aren't really what they are supposed to be

A good smear with Hermmatite or Hylomar is all that was traditionally used.

assume you mean fit, it should do as the last ones i used where listed as rs2000 among others. i think all mk2 escort ones are the same anyway.
perksy thanks,
from searching i believe the Oring ones are the cheap crap ones which is why i was looking at the one above. the originals ones had no Orings.

We had the same problem with the dodgy, leaky, chinese "O-ring" bearings.
I bought a single SKF bearing from these chaps "vintage bearing company, 01283 509562 or 07939 005739" the part number you are after is
411546.
Not cheap (£30-odd each), but cheaper to buy a decent one once, rather than cheap ones repeatedly
No leaks here over a year later.
