Not in the UK at the moment and have no idea what this refers to, but I dont really thing we can judge from where we are if she is loopy or if it show or where it stands between the two.

But certainly she is successful, makes a catchy song that sells, and is not the first successful artist to deviate from the normal.

Overall I prefer artists who who simply ignore fashion and convention and do their own thing rather than those who

A. intentionally conform or
B. work very hard to appear deliberately anti conformist.

Laqdy Gaga's music isn't on my play list but chart music seldom is. That said I can see she is a good songwriter, a passable singer and can even play jazz piano so that all has to qualify her as a competent musician.

Her image is just crowd pleasing flim flam- creating a unique selling point, something to separate her from the crowd. Enough female stars have used the highly charged sexualised approach (Madonna can still carry it off, others like Mily Cyrus just look a bit daft) whilst Lady Gaga has created a more androgynous and deliberately bizarre image. I cants really see Alison Goldfrapp or Annie Lennox feeling it necessary to dress up in raw meat anytime soon but each to their own.
