R1 / Fireblade fuel pumps

Could anyone see any problems with using a sumbersible Honda pump as opposed to the external R1 pump ? I have a nearly new pump which came off a Honda 1000, and an R1 motor.

The Honda pump has a fuel level signal wire which could solve the fuel level problem.

I also think that the pump has an inbuilt pressure relief, but this may cause more problems than good if the pressure isn't the same as the R1.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

The injected R1 pump is a tank mounted submersible pump (is/was on 2002/2003 engine anyhow). It also has a fuel warning sender built into it.
Ive got one in the garage if you want to make me an offer on it

Just re-read this again, are you talking about a carbed R1 or an injected one? If the former then ignore my post above, but check to make sure the Honda pum you are looking at is also from a carbed engine, cos most carb pumps are external rather than submersible
