MK Indyblade exhaust exit

Saw this MK Indyblade on ebay (item 4587927197.)
Dunno if its known by anybody on here?
(Somebody more clever than I please do a link!)
Look closely, and you'll see that the exhaust exits on the driver side - not passenger side!
I was intrigued and asked the question how and why?
He says that he mounted the engine higher in the chassis so that he could use the original blade exhaust system!
Is there really that much room under an Indy bonnet to do that? (Doesn't look in the pictures that he has used an extra high bonnet bulge to compensate!)
I know that my Avon bonnet and scuttleline is comparatively low to that of the Indy, but even though I've mounted my blade engine low in the chassis, I'm still gonna have to cut out the bonnet just to accomodate a sausage filter! - there sure as s**t isn't any room to fit an underslung exhaust!!!
