Luego blade or zzr

Went to see grant at luego yesterday as im having problems with my rear end ! NO not I.B.S

Anyway while i was there i was asking if he could do a engine swap and fit me up a bike engine over winter. He can and said could book it in for December.

So now i need to find a suitable engine or he did say he could even sorce an engine. I was thinking blade being and nice tried and tested engine with good reliabilty . Im not too concerned with massive power figure cause anything will be better than my current 1.6 pinto.

I think grant was trying to talk me into getting the ZZR 1100 please could someone advise what the difference is between the blade and zzr cause i know the zzr is cheaper and from what ive heard more powerful.

zzr has excellent gear ratios for car aplications, and 150 bhp. Radical used a lot of them. How much can he get a zzr for??

He would get one from extreme motors or something like that im not sure how much he can get one yet but from reading on here i have noticed there cheaper . I mean if you look on bike trader you can see there cheaper than an equivilant year mileage fireblade.

I notice the evo in your archive is that yours ?

Standard reply, but what about an R1, well proven, good power and reasonable cost? The ZZR and carbed blade engines are both good, but the newest you'll probably get one is 6-7 years old, and with the ZZR maybe even older?

Yup, passed on the Thursday, registered Friday, had THE longest weekend ever waiting for the post. V5, tax disc and notification of the plate came on the Tuesday. Been out on Wednesday and again today.

You finished yet?

Cheers
