R1 Oil Sensor

Has anyone cut the oil sensor back on an R1 motor to avoid cutting the baffle plate ?

I've just cut mine and can't clear all the orange insulator out of the sensor. Does anyone know of some type of glue (araldite ?) which would survive exposed to the hot oil in the sump ?

Cheers, Lyn.

I cut my baffle plate and left the sensor in. Some people unbolt the sensor and glue a cover plate over the hole. Your choice I think.
