gear change info

hi could someone tell me please about all the things needed for my BEC gear change

Im probably going to go paddle shift

Iv seen a few in the flesh

but as Ive never needed things like rose joints etc

so dont Know the slightest thing about them..

what goes inside the paddle to make it 1. go on the steering rack

2. move around is it like a bearing

any info of what I need
lengths needed etc etc

would be great

Hi matey

to be honest I've had this dilema myself - for the SVA I'd just use a standard gear stick in the usual position. I wanted to use paddles but realised it'd be simpler to go the stick route for now, then once its on the road experiment with the paddles and fancy stuff.
