Lost 2nd and 3rd Gears, anyone seen them?
After last weekends problems, I spent Saturday fixing the Indy.
I replaced the split hose, filled the engine back up with oil and it started and runs fine.
Took it for a test drive this morning. Engine still pulls really strongly, but I can only find 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th gears. Anyone seen the other two
wondering around Northumberland? Probably a bit cold and confused by now.
Oh well, looks like that spare engine ain't a spare anymore, on with the engine swap.
Anyone got a clue as to how to fix the gearbox once I get the engine out? I guess it'll need the cases split and the box taken out. Does the ZZR
eat dogs or selector forks? Can anyone recommend someone to undercut the gears and remake the selector fork?
