Thermostat for Blade?

How does one normally trigger the fan for the radiator?

I'm using a Polo rad and it has a boss for the normal fan switch, do I need to blank this as the Blade has a sender somewhere else or use it?

If I am using a sender in the radiator what's the best temp range to get for a 919/954 blade install?
92/87 or 85/80?

No you should use this temperature switch position in the rad. The blade only has a thermostat to allow the water to pass through the rad.

Hi, I seem to recall this came up recently however I cant find the thread. We are using a 98 919RRW blade in our indy using a westfield rad and plan to use a thermo switch from We stfield parts store . I seem to think that the one for a blade is s the 97oC one from this link but i'm not too sure. Is the Polo rad the same as the westfield rad?
