What do I look for. I need to find a Power Commander for a 2003 ZX12R, but don't know were to start. Ive seen them on ebay but I am unsure if they are anygood.
Ive also seen them on the net for about £245.00. So whats what with them.

Carl,

E-bay is generally the cheapest and most reliable source for Power Commanders. I would suggest getting the PCIII USB for your 2003 engine.

And yes, they are very good.

I have my eye on the exact same item as you have recommended. What's it worth second hand?

I picked up an R1 PCIIIr unused and boxed for £130 on ebay. I haven't tried it yet but the box was unopened so no reason to doubt it.

Carl,

second hand, Id probably be prepared to pay upto £120. Having said that, they don't come up too often so might be worth paying slightly more. I'd personally be a bit concerned about buying second hand ones. Power Commanders have been known to break. You just need to satisfy yourself that it sounds OK.
