Whats this?
Just put my RRV blade engine on the bench to start cleaning it up and noticed their seems to be something missing.
if you turn your head 45 degrees to the right it might make more sense!, its right of the clutch cover and below the oil pump(?) is it some sort of
boss for a sensor or somthing?
ive looked through the heynes manual and i canrt find any refernce to it.

Sure thats where I took an extended feed from on one of MNR's Fireblades..
Opinions are like backsides..
Everyone has one, nobody wants to hear it and only other peoples stink!

Yep, I fixed my braided pipe to this and then to my sensor at the top of the cradle

Haynes manual doesn't really show it very well but there's basically a 1/8" NPTF thread in the bolt that the sensor screws into, if
you are not going to fit the standard one then you are best to use some braided hose and remote mount it as the vibration from the engine often means
the aftermarket oil pressure sensor can sheer off.
HTH,
Rich.

If it helps here's a pic of where I mounted mine, I actually kept the original and fitted the Digidash one but the DD one has a built in low
pressure switch anyway.
