Digidash remote oil sensor mounting

Hi Guys

I thought this was gonna cost about 10 quid to have made up!

Just been to Pirtek and they wanted £38 exc VAT. Had to use various converters - Said they don't really deal with NPTF.

Thought this was a bit steep?

Details:-
DigiDash : Male sensor is 1/8"NPTF,

Honda : F/Male is 1/8"BSP (I think - if someone could confirm)

How much has anyone else paid, if considerably less?

Who would you recommend?

(pref Midlands..... but thinking about it anywhere as long as it's cheaper!)

Cheers,

James.

I managed to get one made up by Pirtek for just over £20 - it must just depend on the branch and the enthusiasm/lack of it of the individual

Perhaps I've got "possible mug", written on my face then!

The guy spent ages, sorting it too!

The adaptors, adapting the adaptors, came to £13!!!

Without cable, just the adaptors and the sensor the length was about 200mm - He woz 'avin a laugh!!!!

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but does any one have a picture of where they bolted in the remote sencer, on a Fazer engine (think it should be the same as a R1.

Thanks
Leigh
