i dont think many people take apart their steering columns, hence most people dont know how they go back together. Which column is it? Fixed or adjustable? I have one in the garage i can take apart if necessary.

Thanxs!

Joel,

i'm sure that my english is the problem...
not what i want,

i just want to know the basic's about it,

I have the normal sierra one (non adjustable)

i only need to know the right order of mounting it in.

I will start to give you the idea what i think i need to do..

I have got the poly bush but then how does the next thing goed in?

from the inner side to the outside or in reverse i mean from the engine side to the pedal side??

also i have the small steel ring how does it go in place and what does it do??

also i need to now if there is any trick or tip with mounting the wheel because looks like every wheel i try won't fit very weel except the standard old baggy sierra one!! the others will touch the switches..

ideas??

Tks

The washer is to stop the nylon bush from moving up the triangle steering shaft. It pushes on first then the nylon bush and then the shaft goes through the rubber bush and the washer is pushed back down to the nylon inner bush to hold it in place in the rubber outer. Have you got the plastic spacer on before the steering wheel to cancel the indicators.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
