CBR1000f-J quick engine questions for stoneleigh shopping list

Not got access to car before Stoneleigh (not ready either )

Does anyone out there know ...

Plug sizes - I need to get a plug spanner - I'm pretty sure Ive tried a 10 with no joy.

What would be recommended as a good oil for this old bird ('88) ie - does her age make a difference to whether I go for conv, synth or blend?

Nearly went for synth-blend the other day, but thought I should perhaps check with the people in the know.

Cheers for any info.
James.

12mm long reach - make sure it's got a reliable rubber grip that stays put!

Synth blend, Rock Oil or other good brand, Royal Purple, Silkolene etc etc, use synth and you'll get clutch slip.

HTH

BTW - I've got an early CBR1000F? in the garage - any bits you want off it help yourself - it's seized, but only due to damp I think.
