Always interested in forced induction!

What did you say you'd extract from a turboed Blackbird?? 360bhp!!??

What are the service intervals? 100 miles!?

Would love to see some pics though.

Chris.

Are Blackbirds fairly proven under high boost then?

Expensive work? If you don't mind me asking....

Chris.

Jack has told me that a modified blackbird urbo still holds one of the fastest unbeaten records, if you dry sump to prevent oil surge problems there a good engine, with one of the best cylinder heads on the market, as for cost, About 7g, but thats everything. and should be untouchable.

its gonna skint me.

Sounds like it should be pretty nippy Out of interest, what are you mostly going to be using it for, drag / sprint events, trackdays, road etc?

Chris

The reason I ask is partly because of cooling, just make sure you get that right and can cool it sufficiently.

A friend of mine who's done a busa turbo has had to look a lot into this because although its quite easy to cool a 350bhp engine if its only running for a few minutes at a time, its a lot harder to cool it when doing 20 minute sessions on a hot trackday, and generally a lot harder to make a reliable engine when its being used for the longer timeframes that trackdays demand.
