BEC emmisions
To pass the SVA as I understand the following values apply
CO <= 0.3%
HC <=200 ppm
Lambda between 0.97 and 1.03.
Pre my build I have spoken to a local RR concern who have tuned many grass tracker BEC for "race" but none for SVA. The question they
asked was " what are the values of the emmisions as above as it is while still on the bike ?" so they can have a base line to look at.

0.3% CO at 2500 RPM idle, 0.5% at base idle.
With a cat fitted to by R1 engine, I had to adjsut the idle fuel mixture screws to get the HC and lambda into the range but the CO was very low.

Just out of interest Colin was that after the rejet?
Mine is in desperate need of a rejet but I know a lean condition should help with emmissions (although Ive also heard rich mix can help with HC) so Im
tempted to leave it as is until after the test.
Thanks

Depends on the age of the engine I think. Not sure what you are using, but my pre 31st july '92 carbed ZZR was tested at hcc <1200 and co
<3.5%

I SVAd mine with an R1 exhaust fitted and with standard jetting. As the tests are done at 2500 RPM, the jet needles should make little difference.
most of the adjustment can be done with the idle screws.
