Power Commander map?

Have just fitted a power commander to my R1 striker and plan to get the car up to Dyno Jet to sort out a map. The only thing is this isn't going to happen before Le mans.
Have been looking through all the maps on the CD and the web site to find a base map but not being a biker, I don't know what half these performance exhausts are like.
The car has a 4-1 exhaust and a pipercross air filter (no air box). Any body know which map would be a good place to start?

Thanks
Ben.

The base 2002/3 R1 injection map will be pretty close as long as you are using the airbox - you won't come to any harm. If you are using a foam filter its gonna be guess work :-)

Hi Guys

I'm looking for a base map for my R1 on an Emerald ECU - carbed engine but possibly with injection - all depends on time!

I've tried downloading from the Power Commander site but I guess you need their software as well. Can anybody tell me if it's possible to export the map to a text file or spreadsheet?

Regards

Wyn

Power commander map is not a map as such, its an adjustment from the stock timings...

You wont be able to use it with an emerald...

That will need some safe timings puttin in first and then professional mapping

Thanks G.Man.

I didn't know whether Power Commander gave access to the base map so that I could copy the lookup tables onto my Emerald ECU as, hopefully, a startup map, allowing me to get it running and check for leaks etc before the rolling road.
