Guess the axle...
Still trying to piece together exactly which donor parts my car contains.
andyd kindly pointed me in the direction of a picture of his Cortina axle. Mine, however, looks a bit different.
I asume it is, therefore, an Escort Mk. 2 axle but if anyone can confirm or deny from this picture:

Yeap have to agree with Chris on that, looks like a Escort timken axle. It's not a capri thats for sure, not a late one anyway.
One way to find out is to measure the width.
