add these to the list:-
the steering column, wheel, shroud thingy, stalks, handbrake, all the fuses out the box, all the relays you can find (inc the flasher one above the
column but behind the clocks), the bulbs out of the lamps, any nuts, bolts etc that aren't rusted up.

spare lengths of wire, vin plate.
cut the seatbelts off, they're good for towing and lifting.

cheers guys i was very pissed off earlier- its a 4x4, im gonna flog the diff off ebay and use most other things. just wanted to ask, how did everyone
go about getting the plunger thingy etc from the petrol tank? i really dont want to go about it with the angle grinder, or a hacksaw really.
also, will scrappies take away a car that has no wheels??

the petrol tank is held on with 3 x m10 nuts, just loose them off and it drops off!
(nice as the washer bottle is held on with 2 x m10 nuts!)
the sender just sort of screws out the tank IIRC.

many scrappies will take cars with no wheels, they will obviously need a hiab to lift it out. Make sure you break it as close to the road as possible,
to avoid nasty scrap marks on the drive.

My advise take every damb thing of it you can move, loads of useful bits abound, and just scrap the body, exhaust. etc. And dont sell the diff on Ebay
if its a 4x4 its fitted with a LSD, or at least mine was. Could sell the remaining bits, and the gearbox, I got £270 for the various bits I put on
Ebay. (Car cost me £170), now thats a locost doner Have fun, Ray.

Whatever you do, don't forget the towbar. You'll need that for the caravan

have to say, the random nuts and bolts are priceless! Get a tub and keep them all, will save a fortune on new bolts.

3.92 i think (its a 2.0), much too low for me, thats why i was gonna put it on ebay. the footwells are a great place to put the nuts and bolts for the
moment- ill do a big cleanup when finished and grap am all
