facet fuel pump and r1i

does anyone know if my typical facet barrell type pump will supply enough pressure for an r1 injection (5pw) ta.

if you mean the silver top style ones then no they only provide about 7psi so nowhere near high enough. try looking for a bosch or similar injection pump.

A fuel pump is either made for carbs, or made for injection. You basically need to look up the specs for it and see what its for, if its an injection pump then it may well be suitable if it can flow enough fuel and supply it at high enough pressure. The absolute minimum pressure it needs to supply is around 50psi (fuel rail regulator err regulates that to ~44psi if I recall correctly.
