r1 output shaft angle
The questions start.....
I have just started fitting my R1 cradle, MK cradle and Indy chassis. My question is does the engine, ouput shaft/adaptor have to be parallel to the
diff input flange? Mine is not by a fair way.

just been speaking to a prop manufacturer today, and they said more than 1 degree but less than 3 ??.

If it's a standard R1 engine installation, I wouldn't be too concerned. MK have doing R1 cradles for the Indy chassis for years now
without any problems.

As I said to Martin, in a live-axle BEC the flanges will never be parallel anyway so it shouldn't really matter in an IRS car anyway!
So long as your prop shaft is well balanced and the UJ angles aren't excessive it shouldn't cause a problem.....
