R1 Water / oil temp
Hi.
(2003 R1)
What is the normal temperature after the car is warmed up (oil and water)?
I was warming up the car for the first time when water hitted 98º without the fan kicking in.
I know the fan works properply as I have an override button grounding the ECU, and it works fine. I might have air in the cooling system, though.

Hi Joao, dont be too alarmed, the fans dont normally come in to about 102-104. IIRC the earlier R1s come on at 106 and the warning is at 130.
I cant see the inj model being much different so dont worry.

edited to say are you using an R1 rad or polo rad? If the polo rad make sure you have the wires the correct way around to the fan switch as it only
works in one direction.
