Shorter Blade oil filter?

Seems my idea of running oil pressure and temperature from a sandwich plate on the filter is a no-no, due to the filter not fitting on due to hitting chassis rail.

Anybody know if a shorter filter exists which is M20 x 1.5, or a cross referenceable lists with dimensions?

Failing that, anybody know if there are any blanked off holes on a 919 which can be used for oil temp/pressure?

Ta

Why not use the existing pressure light switch location for pressure take off, the pressure light is all but useless as a meaningful indication of impending doom anyway? As for temp, I just had a small boss welded into the sump and took it from there.

OK. Where abouts is it and what thread?

Location wise in the oil circuit, any use for temperature too? Is it at the hot or the cold end?

Its at about 4-o'clock as you look at clutch cover from that end of the engine, the thread Im not sure but ISTR 1/8 BSPT. As you'll be getting a hose to remotely mount your pressure sender anyway, it doesnt need to be the same as the sender itself.
Its no good for temperature though because you couldn't get the sender into the flow of oil, so its readings will be way off.
