weird noise from fireblade engine
my car seems to have developed a weird sucking type noise at about 6000 rpm. Its never done it before and is making me wonder if its about to go
bang?
i know its hard to diagnose without hearing it but its worth a try?
unless any 1 fancies a listen?

Probably impossible to diagnose a sucking noise online!
Plus you just put a big target on your head
Perhaps you could give some more info? Does it spit or Swallow?
Then again, are you SURE it hasnt always made that noise? Most bikes ive had make noises all of a sudden when I stop concentrating on riding and
listen to the engine, little rattle, dings, nocks......makes you paranoid if you let it! Sounds like a standard induction roar if its comming on
song.....try a Kawasaki, they really roar when sucking air in!

Probably induction noise... as stated you notice lots more noises when you start to relax a little.
I take no responsibility for the statements above...

well i've had it bout 2 years and its never done it before. its louder than the usual induction roar, and almost is like a rattle. Doesn't
do it unless its under load and it doesn't seem gearbox related.
oh and she swallows

Cam chain tensioner? I've never had one stick on me so I don't have a clue what it would sound like!
All the best

I had these kind of noises but I can't hear it at 10,000 revs so I figure it's fine
