r1/fazer ecu wiring brown and black wire!
I have a fazer 1000 engine. I dont have a wiring diagram for the fazer but do have one from a 1999 R1.
Do you know what the brown/black wire from the ECU is for?
Cheers,
Andy

Which brown/black wire!
Where does it go to?
If it's the thick wire with a plug halfway down it, that plugs into the rectifer.

I'll edit the main question.
The Faser 1000 ecu has a brown/black wire coming out of it. I need to know what to connect it to if anything.
Does anybody have a faser who can help?
Cheers,
Andy

according to my wiring diagram it goes from the ecu to the stop switch. it connects to the red and white wire just before the switch.

Tim,
Could you post the wiring diagram if possible?
I've cut my loom up, I'm working from the ECU outwards.
The car is not going on the road so the wiring is going to be very basic serup.
I also need to know the yellow/green from the ECU.
Cheers,
Andy
