Blade fuel filter

Ive just plumbed in the blade pump in final preperation as im going to start my engine today(wahoo!) and i realised i missed out the fuel filter, the haynes manual states this goes between the the tank and the pump, but this would be hard to fit it in See Here would it be alright fitting it after the pump?

depends if you want to bugger your pump up or not, just get one of the cheap inline ones from linco.

Had a look in halfords today and the smallest one they had wasnt much smaller than the blade one and the inlet/outlet pipes were to small anyway

I put a small glass filter with 10mm tails between the tank and the pump and then a focus 2.0 filter between the pump and the engine in case the pump destroyed itself.
