BEC Exhaust back pressure?

Hi all.

I bought one of the modified R1 carbon cans of ebay and appear to have choked the engine. Jets are 128 with the needles and carb's balanced but not quite running right.... Rather than reduce the jet size and reduce power? I would like to open up the exhaust a little bit..

Has anyone any advice or suggestions for modifying the exhaust to reduce back pressure/noise. The exhaust construction is one of multiple chambers and not a straight through. Would drilling a hole into the next chamber really screw it up or just let more gases through...

Thanks
Paul.

Your only real option is to buy some perforated tube and wadding, gut the can and replace with this. Just boring another hole is really a bit of a waste of time IMHO.

Regards Mark
