Which clutch master cylinder....
..can i use? does it need to be any in particular or can i use any from a car? The engine is a 88 kawasaki zx10.

I used the one of the bike.
Saved a load of hassle to be honest and gave me pretty good clutch feel, and cheap.
I'll see if I can find a photo of it installed later.

I used a Willwood 5/8 bore one. The 3/4 one was too heavy. its sweet now.
I agree though that the bike on would be best if you can fit it.

I thought that a bike one would be too light for foot control wouldn't it? I remember my ZZR1100 had a very light clutch even with just two
fingers.

Not the way I bodged mine in! Basically I have a normal floor mounted Indy pedal with a 3mm cable coming out of it. This runs up through the engine
bay to the original bike handle / reservoir and m/c.
The fun bit is getting the pedal travel right. I had a couple of goes, finally settling on a long throw on the pedal and a short throw on the lever
end. Seems to work well.
I guess if it's too light you could put a return spring on the pedal?

That's my intention.
Bike cylinder in the engine bay worked by my cable pedal box and a suitable spring to give me the correct pedal weight.
