Sump - how low?
How low have people got thier sump? Mine is set flush with the chassis. A little lower would be better for bonnet clearence (when I get one). But
there's a lot of road humps and debris on the road these days. I'm not keen on loosing the bottom.

Ours is 20mm lower than the chassis... it clears speed humps just, other than that, no problem!

I have about 1.5" under sump guard.
Speed humps mean I drive half on the pavement!

I have about 1" or so lower than the bottom chassis rail - shouldn't be too much of an issue (except I'd like to panel the whole
thing in and will have to cut a section out)
