fault help
went out for a drive tonight after changing my blown zx9r coils. Alls fine until i give it medium poke in a low gear theress a jolt then the revs rise
and fall back to normal and it goes like normal. Anyideas what is making the revs rise and the jolt?
Roads are still damp maybe small amount of wheel spin?

Clutch slipping?
Sounds like it.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

a clutch is most likely to slip at peak torque, sometimes if its only marginally slipping it will bite again as you go higher up the rev range.
Do the revs rise suddenly as if in neutral thn bang back in as they match the road speed again, or is it all quite progressive. I assume by your
comment on wheelspin its more the latter? If so, it can only really be three things, either clutch slip, wheelspin or you are actually accelerating
then decelerating!

Sounds like wheelspin to me, do you get associated tyre noise with it?
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

Kawasaki, aftermarket ones are generally crap.
Are you sure its slipping? Try setting off with the handbrake pulled on tight.
